Is being gay wrong ?

I just read online where a 10 year old was beaten to death for being gay this makes me so mad I hate it when straight people pick on gays like this especially if it's a kid. I don't think it's wrong for kids to be gay either I came out when I was 13 my dad and my sisters in fact my sisters were happy for me they didn't care but of course like most crimes like that it was the moms boyfriend I'm glad I don't have my mom right now I don't mean that I miss her like crazy but like I said stuff like this makes me mad. I don't get why some people are proud of their kids for being gay others aren't. Sounds like this kids step dad was on drugs when he did this the girlfriend's son even said he like boys all he did was beat him till he died. I couldn't read the whole story it was too upsetting for me. Is it really wrong to be gay ?

No, it's not wrong to be gay. But it's wrong when a society sexualizes everything from the movies we watch to commercials on tv. It's also wrong when schools teach LGBTQ and sex education to young children and suggesting that sex is okay and it is as normal as watching cartoons or playing with their friends. When I was 10, my friends and I gave not one second of our time to thinking about sex or being gay. The people that beat him are wrong, but so is society - teachers and media - that keep throwing it in their face 24/7. I'd like to know what motivated the kid to spend so much of his life thinking about being gay and what compelled a 10 year to think he was homosexual. He should have been playing with his dog, homework or playing sports etc..... I'd like to know if he was abused or if he was introduced to it at school. After they arrest the guilty parties they need to ask more questions about the kids lifestyle.
