How to comfort you're wife when she's scared ?

We're having a thunderstorm tonight my wife is scared of storms especially thunder. She's afraid of loud noises. She keeps hugging me telling me how frightened she is. How can I comfort her ?

Read to her, watch a video together - distract her. She's gonna be scared no matter what. So just make being scared as comfortable and safe as possible.
