Why Won't My Parents Accept Me?

I tried to come out to my mom about a year ago and she doesn't seem to support me because the next time she talked to me about it was 6 months later and all she said was "Are you still having those feelings" I answered with silence and turned around and walked out the front door and came back the next day and to this day I hint on it and she just doesn't get me or just doesn't accept me for who I am 😭
