What do you think about banning conversion therapy?

Conversion Therapy is an attempt to make gay people straight. It doesn't work and it is harmful for people who are forced into it. However why can't delusional people pay for a service if they think it helps them?

If sone one doesn’t want to live a gay life, what’s wrong with them seeking an alternative one? Theyll always have the option at any point of changing their minds.

@MrAboo they always change their minds and hurt their wives and kids in the process my aunt married one such man and lived in a sexless and eventually loveless marriage wondering what SHE was doing wrong. finally, they divorced and the truth came out which hurt even more. if it worked great, but it doesn't. there is not one single case of it successfully working.

@MrAboo Would we say that to someone of a different race? Or someone with an unchangeable genetic condition? Why not help a person better accept themselves and helps society reduce stigma rather than try to change what's intrinsic in that person?

@MrAboo what's wrong is it's pseudoscience, harmful and most often coerced. You can't change your sexuality.
