Do you find it hard finding other gay girls/guys in your area or is it just me

Hard to imagine isn't it? If you listen to a gay person inevitably they will tell you 30-40% of America is gay. That means every 3rd and 4th person you pass on the street out of every 10 people is gay. And movies and TV tell us how common it is and how "EVERYONE is gay nowadays"..............and yet gays can't find other gays??? Odd, huh? Especially considering how ever 3rd and 4th person out of 10 people are supposedly onboard with being gay too. Someone must be lying, huh?

@anythingoes477 you misunderstand a lot.. many gays don't come out of the closet and it isn't like you can just go up an ask random people out and not risk getting killed by some guy who's girl you insulted. there is a distinct difference between men and women, not so much between gay women and straight women. if you live in a rural area or even a suburban area there usually are no gay bars around. it is about 20% but that doesn't mean out of a group of 100 50 are or will admit to being gay.
@ladycae Actually the honest amount of gays in America is less that 4%. 3.8% to be accurate. And for T's--less than .01% of the total population.....per Wiki and several other sources not disputed by any LGBT organization. The polling was done in a totally anonymous way (Gallup Polling)......so the argument that not everyone will come out and admit to it is inaccurate. Google "what percent of gays in America" and read the top 3 things that pop up. You are in incorrect. 20% is a gay community overestimation of actual facts.

@anythingoes477 you so funny. closeted gays won't even admit to it anonymously but then i don't expect a straight male to understand. having worked in the market research industry i know there is no such thing as an anonymous poll.
@ladycae They call that...."Cognitive Dissonance". Literally--"when one wants to believe what they want to believe very badly--no matter the facts given to them to the contrary--they will always insist facts are wrong and they are right."

Not that you will bother to look---but here is the link to me "being so funny".

@anythingoes477 like i said i wouldn't expect a straight guy to understand.
[big][/big]@ladycae I understand facts. I don't care if you're gay. But why exaggerate that just EVERYONE is?? "Everyone" isn't--by a long shot.

@anythingoes477 no everyone isn't by a long shot and i never said that
