Anyone else find it hilarious when anti-gay lobbyists accuse gays of wanting special treatment for wanting to be allowed to marry?
Now keep in mind that in most places in north america, this battle has already been lost for them, but the mental gymnastics still delight me.
The logic runs as follows:
Gays already have the same rights to get married. A gay man can marry a woman and a gay woman can marry a man. Therefore gays are demanding special treatment to be allowed to marry the same gender.
I guess the problem here is equivocating the same rights as equal rights.
