Hard and fast, or soft and slow?

Or a bit of both? Does it depend on your mood? Or does it depend on who your partner is? Situation etc? I'm interested to know how you prefer it. :)

Depends if I am using a convenience store microwave or home cooking at my house. Slow cookers can make tough foods rather soft.
