Well...it's legal for them to marry, so I'd say it's pretty acceptable in society. Your one religion (and misinterpretation of that religion) does not get to dictate the opinions of the entirety of the human race.

@Socialclutz ...You could really be any religion at all. Many religious beliefs, and the general belief that homosexuality is immoral stem from crusty old books. Like I said before, it's legal so it's obviously more socially acceptable than it isn't. If you don't like the fact that homosexuality is allowed and celebrated in the West, then move to North Korea or some of the countries in the Middle East. You'll feel at home there, I'm sure.
