What would be your initial reaction to your child coming home with their significant other of the same sex?

I might initially surprised, but I would treat them the same way if they brought another home of the opposite sex. People aren't expected to come out to their parents as heterosexual so I don't see why they would need to come out as homosexual. Just bring home your gf or bf or whoever like you normally would and I would be happy.
