I Know You Stalk Me At Times

I hear a lot of people on the internet talk about how good someone is at web stalking others. Especially girls. Girls often say dumb shit like "Guys don't realize that girls are really good at stalking them on the internet and can find out just about anything about them." It never impressed me in the least because all that information that someone can find on a person had to be willingly posted on the internet by that person to begin with. Take me, for example. If you did about five minutes of stalking my SW profile, you could find my full name, my age, the city I live in, a photograph of me, the high school I graduated from, and the college I'm at now. If a stranger messaged me and revealed that he knew all those things about me, it wouldn't surprise me. Because I had to purposefully put all those things on the web to begin with. It's like if you got an American flag tattooed on your arm but then acted shocked every time someone asked if you were from the USA.

I stalk blueboo. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ•ʔ/
Madelenie · 26-30, F
And this is the right thing?
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
It's very right. If you take it non-seriously.
Madelenie · 26-30, F
"Boo" is a serious thing.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
Yeah, like when you jump out from behind a wall and give someone a fright.
Madelenie · 26-30, F
Right, like I can also call all men my love, my crush, hottie, darling, pumpkin, bae and all.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
What are you even talking about? I called her that because it's cute and she hates cute things. Stop taking things so literally, god.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Marshmallow: "Boo" has been a common nickname for me since Chrissy began calling me that like two years ago. A lot of people call me that. Why did that upset you? And what does it have to do with a crush or calling someone hottie/darling/pumpkin/etc?
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick: Weeeeeell, marshmallow is my gf.. And she gets really triggered if I say something "kind of" flirty to other women..... But I don't see the big issue here.. ┬┴┬┴┤•ᴥ•ʔ/
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@bearinthebigbluehouse: Calling me by my nickname is saying something flirtatious?
Madelenie · 26-30, F
@BlueMetalChick: Because it is considered as affectionate name to me, it can be called by a really close friend I know, yet it is kinda like flirting in a way for my boundary, maybe my boundary is low but this is mine for my relatoinship. Besides, I mentioned those names because I want to let him to see thing in my shoes.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick: Weeeeeeeeeeeell, marshy didn't know that.. I think she thought I meant it as in boo the gf sort of way...... Which would be kinda strange... I couldn't handle Blue bear ┬┴┬┴┤ᴥ•ʔ
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Marshmallow: Since when is the word "Boo" affectionate? Chrissy called me that in like 2013 because I dressed up as a ghost for Halloween.
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@bearinthebigbluehouse: People call their girlfriend boo? God that sounds tacky.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick: Weeeeeell.. I think it's a gangsta rap sort of thing, dawg!! ᶘ ͡°ᴥ͡ °ᶅ/
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@bearinthebigbluehouse: I listen to only small amounts of rap and none of it is "gangsta rap" so that must be why
Madelenie · 26-30, F
@BlueMetalChick: To clarify, I didn't say calling nicknames is not okay. Just the choice of terms are not okay for me. Boo and bae etc which CAN considered as terms of endearment like gf and bf are not appropriate to ME. I have my own standard and Chrissy has hers.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick: Uh.. Well... Maaaybe not gangsta rap... Uh... Gotta think of an example here............... Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh... Uh... That one Nelly song... Screw it, I'm looking on Urban Dictionary.

"boo is a term that is derived from the French word "beau" meaning beautiful. In 18th century England it meant an admirer, usually male. It made it's way into Afro-Caribean language perhaps through the French colonisation of some Caribean islands.

Now meaning girl or boyfriend"... Hmm.... Perhaps it's deeper than I thought. :?
Madelenie · 26-30, F
@bearinthebigbluehouse: That's why you always don't get what I mean, because you don't read. [image deleted]
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Marshmallow: I have never once heard "boo" used as an affectionate term for a boyfriend or girlfriend. "Bae" I know is like the Mongoloid way to refer to your lover, yes.
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@Marshmallow: Oh fack offfffffffffff YOU KNEW I DIDN'T MEAN IN THAT WAY!!! GOD!! ANY EXCUSE TO CALL ME A BAD BF!!
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
@Marshmallow: "Beau" makes sense but that's pronounced "boh" like "bow and arrows" or like it rhymes with "flow."
BlueMetalChick · 26-30, F
And yet people wonder why I prefer to stay single 🙄
bearinthebigbluehouse · 26-30, M
@BlueMetalChick: WHATEVERRR!! IRRELEVANT!! THE ISSUE HAS BEEN SOLVED AND I AM WAY TOO SALTY TO CONTINUE!! MY APOLOGIES, BLUE BEAR!! ᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅᶘಠᴥಠᶅ
Madelenie · 26-30, F
@BlueMetalChick: That's what I mean, everyone has their meaning of words. In this case you consider boo as beau, so it's fine. But if it's another girly girl who would consider it as gf or love, she'd get the wrong message.
