Got a call from 1-855 number

Been using my card how ever and I get a call, hung up, they left a voice message:

"This is the <my banks name> broad service center at <phone number>. With an important message for Twiigss. We need to verify some recent activity on your bank card ending in <numbers>. Please ensure you have your case number 12345678, and that I can call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week."

I have a relative who used to work at that bank and they said that's not a thing, and is a scam, I would have gotten an email immediately, but I have no email, and no bank alert on the mobile app.

It just sounds soooo legit when they say your banks name like that, but I've never heard of broad service center and my relative said that bank company doesn't have a broad service center.

@Tumbleweed I'm sorry 😔. About a year ago I made my usual monthly payment to Comcast for Internet. Then I get an email that says, your payment has been denied. So I call Comcast, told him what happened and the guy says, sir, I don't know what you're talking but your payment fine this sounds like scam.

And when I went back and looked at the email header, sure enough it wasn't even anything to do with Comcast.

@twiigss The email header is always the dead give away. I have received many emails the source was stupid enough to include the distribution list with hundreds of email identities included. No business in their right mind would do that.
