I Hate Scams

i lent big amount of money to someone, trusted and cared about that person so much, trusted their judgement, turns out that person was scammed. i feel that it's more than the amount of money, i am strugling to overcome the shock and trust issue that comes afterwards. i feel that i need to be supportive and understanding while also recovering from the fact. i got all mixed up feeling and i just want to let it all out here anonymously because i cant tell my friends nor family. i am still upset. i need help but i dont know what kind of help im actually needing. writing this out helps.

Lending money to friends is a sure way for the friendship to end.

@jackson55 ah you think so? i really thought it was for a good cause of helping someone in need.. rn idk. care to elaborate why?
jackson55 · M
Because you rarely get the money back and it's not likely the favor would be returned.

@jackson55 lol u got a point, i dont actually expect to be paid back, i think the whole sense of being scammed was what made me feel awful. i feel like im the one being scammed. but yeah.. if you think it that way.. the money wouldnt be back anyway

@Qveenve I've been asked to lend money a few times in my life and I just say no. If you need money go to the bank and get a loan. If the bank won't loan you money why should I? Usally when friends ask you for money that means they've exhausted all other means.

@jackson55 agree. i really should be stronger..

[@ Just say NO! If the friendship depends on money then it's no friendship at all.
