I Hate Scams

i lent big amount of money to someone, trusted and cared about that person so much, trusted their judgement, turns out that person was scammed. i feel that it's more than the amount of money, i am strugling to overcome the shock and trust issue that comes afterwards. i feel that i need to be supportive and understanding while also recovering from the fact. i got all mixed up feeling and i just want to let it all out here anonymously because i cant tell my friends nor family. i am still upset. i need help but i dont know what kind of help im actually needing. writing this out helps.

I joined Amway when I was 18.....i was a fool. Of course i quit 8 hours after i joined. My dad was proud of me. Amway had so many people my age manipulated.

@HermannFegelein my good thoughts with you. any tips on dealing with such manipulation?

@Qveenve Trust yourself more. Nobody can truly know whats best for you. People can advise and thats okay but just take it with a grain of salt. Trust your gut. My Amway "boss" was angry when i quit but fuck him. 2 random dudes approaching me at a shopping center asking me to join should've been enough evidence to feel untrusting of them. They said i could be my own boss but it was BS. Adjusting prices and selling their overly priced products ain't being my own boss. That's manipulation.
