Can I sue him or something?
I’ve talked about my 80 yr old “maid” here before.
He’s a retired nurse, he’s bright and entertaining, unabashedly gay, and talkative.
My main concern is not doing anything to hurt him, physically.
I’m currently fighting some kind of digestive bug, and don’t want to pass it on to anyone, especially him.
He was supposed to come today, but I’m still iffy. He came and knocked urgently on my window. I opened it and he said, “You still look sick, but I have to talk to you.”
You will think, phone? Text? Email? All answers are “No.” Tony has never figured out the cell phone and besides, we both have some degree of hearing loss. Tony does not, will not, text.
He said, “Tomorrow, at 2? You’re not going to believe it. It’s terrible! It’s horrible!”
I said, “What HAPPENED?”
He said, “No, I’m going to make you wait till tomorrow,” and ran off. On the snowy, icy parking lot.
I yelled, “Don’t RUN ON THE ICE!”
He gave a backward dismissive wave and ran on.
I watched till he made it to his door.
Now I have to wait 24 hours to learn what horrible, terrible thing happened.
This must be legally actionable.
