If an accusation of treason is found to be false are there consequences for the one that made the false accussation?

Treason is not a minor accusation.

The quick answer is that false accusations can lead to civil suits like defamation which are (as said) civil and would be handled between a civil court and the involved parties.

If a false police report was filed, that can come with criminal charges, such as exactly that—filing a false police report—coming with things like fines and jail time, depending on the state.

But the realistic answer is that if you're referring to a person of "high social status" then these things often become corrupt for that reason. What applies to us may not apply to them. If this hypothetical accusation you speak of is truly false and made with malicious intent, we will have to play our cards right and hope the stars align in order for them to face justice. But it has happened, and it will happen again. The only question is when, and to whom.

@jehova Could you please explain what is meant by "turnouts"? Is that people who vote?

@Nightwings yes the portion of vouters that show up to vote they turned out (showed up)or turned up the number that voted. Showed up to voted. It used to be a vote machine in which you pulled a lever to cast your vote when that lever turned back. Well you turned up your vote.
