Is it ok for the police to use a car to kill a cow?
If there was an angry cow and the police didn't have a gun (in the UK the police don't have guns) would it be ok for the police to ram the car into the cow?

If the cow was an imminent risk to life then yes. Cows do kill and seriously injure people. In this particular case the cow was a calf I believe and it seemed to be at night so the streets would be quieter. It's being investigated by the independent police complaints commission now and the Home Secretary is also demanding answers.
