Being robbed of your santuary

So my place was robbed last year september and we all suspected the neighbor. But nothing came of if. I dont know how many times in the past 9months he as been in my house taking my things on the down low but we caught him. Finally and they are charging him big time but given the justice system is over run. Let me. What is a just punishment for violating someone’s life. Disrupting my life. Taking my things. Jail is a cake walk compared to my trauma. My peace is destroyed
