Imagine for six months you having to tell your inmates you fed the pigeons

feeding the pigeons is illegal in my city and could land you a $1000 fine, or six months in jail

Same with feeding wild animals here, yet people do it, anyway. People are short-sighted and don’t realize that by "helping" the animals, they’re risking these animals’ lives and that of their own pets.

The wild animals are encouraged to seek more food in inhabited areas, where they attack domestic animals and homeowners. Then, law enforcement and animal control have to kill them.

@bijouxbroussard I suppose it makes them less wild....? Not being able to be independent for food. But I don't see these doofy pigeons being a threat to anyone 😂 but whatever

I looked it up, this is a three year old law. But I he haven't been to feed any birds in a decade or so
@caPnAhab I’ve heard it said that an overpopulation of pigeons can spread disease, especially with their excrement.
