Supreme Court

As a nation founded on Judeo Christian values, why does Catholicism have the majority of seats on the Supreme Court? We were not founded on Catholicism, we are Christians and Jews.

I thought the Separation of State and Religion was one of your country's cornerstones. How can you ask this type of question?

@Zeusdelight Yes, you are right, why do Catholics make up the Majority? Should we not have at least 1 from Islam, 1 from Buddhists, 1 Atheist, etc? Let's make it fair.

@kgabbert1 Intelligent and Ethical jurists will apply the law to the facts as provided by the parties to the action.

If you do not think that is happening, the problem is much deeper than the faith of each individual Judge.

Their religious beliefs should not be a matter affecting their considerations, so any quota system would have no effect.

@Zeusdelight I disagree, how can anyone believe that their personal opinions will not have an affect? Maybe their religion should not be made available to the public. Still, to be fair, we need more than Catholics and Jews to fill those seats.

@kgabbert1 Some people are disciplined. In fact, a lot of people have to be disciplined in that way as a requirement to do their work.
