Fines are out of control

In Queensland Australia a woman was find over $1000 for having a phone tucked in her bra while driving. She was photographed by a seatbelt and phone detection camera. Im just making aware what lengths governments in Australia are going to so as to take your cash.

not sure how things are in australia... but here fines are related to your income... so if you are poor a 10€ fine and if you are rich that can easily become 1000€... and thats a good thing

@MoonMoon they dont give a shit if you are poor or rich here in Australia. And the rich can afford to pay a lawyer to get them out of paying .

@LandOfOz Agree. The intent that people supported was use of a phone. My phone lives in my pocket, I don't even know it's there and it's harmless. There's a point where it becomes revenue raising and invasive.
