New York passes gun laws......

They've successfully undermined the united states constitution to take away what is aeen as a god given right to the people. Are new Yorkers pissed about the right to self defense being taken away, or happy to trade their own personal freedom and responsibility for a sense of security?

@iamonfire696 Folks love their guns more than their kids in the U.S. unless it’s a case of a woman or girl not wanting to have one, that is. Then they’ll get involved, because they value life. Until the child is born. Then, if the child is killed in a shooting, they’re just dying for our right to bear arms. 😞

@iamonfire696 that's a fair point, but there's definitely crime here and definitely a culture that promotes crime. To where people are taken advantage of by those who would commit crime. From my personal perspective, it is very much a right to defend myself in the best way possible.

@TexChik could you tell that to the 10 year old that’s been raped by her father and is now pregnant and has to carry a baby to term? Or to the mother that has to carry a baby who doesn’t have a skull formed?

Most women I know that have gotten an abortion are not using it as a form of birth control. It’s because the forms of birth control they used failed.

It is 100% about controlling women. If this was applicable to a man and taking their rights about you can be damn sure it wouldn’t be happening.

@iamonfire696 I was that girl, just didn’t get pregnant. While states say they are declining all abortions because every woman who carelessly got herself knocked up would claim they were raped . However I know for a fact that with verification by LE and medical, red states will allow it .

@TexChik but they are not allowing it in those states. It’s funny that you don’t want your freedoms taking away but you are okay with the government having a say over your body. All I can think of is cognitive dissonance.
