I Hate Seeing Shootings Happen At Schools

Donald Trump broke off from an event at the White House and called it “ a very sad day”. He condemned “an absolutely horrific attack” and said his administration was “determined to do everything in our power” to prevent such incidents.

My question: Do you suppose he has no power? What’s he done since the Florida school shootings?

This is all freakin bullshit.

We all want simple answers to complex problems. This is a complex problem.

@HoraceGreenley It's not as complex as you say.

@SimplyTracie Not complex at all. And with a tried and tested solution that has worked in many countries.

@room101 Hush. Americans don't seem to care what other countries do. 😏

@chrisCA You're right there. I mean, what could they possibly learn from countries which have buildings that are older than their nation. 😒

@room101 This is the biggest problem we face. Our leaders believe it’s to difficult a problem to resolve so the answer is to do nothing and hope the problem will just go away. 😒

@HoraceGreenley They should make murder illegal.

@room101 I think you hit the nail on the head. I agree that this is a fundamental issue in our country. There is a middle American mentality that is reluctant to change and a belief that American "exceptionalism" means that we have nothing to gain or learn from others. It's very cult-like thinking.
