I Have a Question

Why is it that when a Muslim commits a crime (i.e. a bombing or mass shooting) it's broadcasted everywhere as a Muslim terrorist attack, but when a Christian commits a similar crime for political reasons it's not blown up on the news as a Christian terrorist attack?
Just wondering.

It is indeed unlikely to change, but it would be a great improvement towards equality. Or even better: stop bringing religion and race into stories about crimes for anyone, but that is even more unlikely to happen.

@Plobey I doubt the news will ever report like that, but they should. If they're going to bring race and religion in to it then they might as well do it for everyone. It's not fair for them to put emphasis on any race other than white and any religion other than Christianity when describing the person who committed the crime.

I've always wondered about that too. Wherever a crime is committed by a white person, the news only mentions what city they are from. Whenever someone ethnic commits a crime, they cover their religion or race. I wonder how people would react if the news started reporting on crimes as "a white person with known bonds with the Christan church..."

Well, I haven't seen any attack from Christian in Muslim Countries... that's why

Doesn't the US Army allow Christians to join them then? And what about attacks by Christians in western countries?

Exactly, most Muslims hate Isis, so the religion has nothing to do with the actions of terrorists. Somehow society seems to realize that for their own people, but not for others.

@meduchan No, but some Christians have shot up and blown up abortion clinics. That is an act of terrorism.
The definition of terrorism- the use of violence and intimidation in the pursuit of political aims.

Plobey, Those are called wars. Terrorists aren't supported by their religion/political/whatever group (Well, it depends, but like most muslims HATE Isis)

Imperial...I hope that is sarcasm.
And what's the political aim in attacking abortion clinics? Don't tell me! Controlling women's bodies, right?
