There were 632 mass shootings in the USA 2023, There was 1 in UK.

1. A wait period and background check before every gun purchase.
2. Guns sold at police stations only.
3. Age 21, like the drinking age.
4. A physical exam
5. Abolish assault weapons.

Criminals do not obey laws. There are laws against drunk driving, but people still do it. Maybe a waiting period on buying alcohol. Or only buying it from the police. Abolish certain liquors like beer, which most people drink while driving. Im needing. Sarcastic by the way.

There are laws against buying, selling, and using drugs but would you agree we still have a drug problem on the streets.

At some point we just admit that guns are not the problem. You mentioned the UK only having 1 shooting. How many stabbing with knives did they have. Yes, they have knife control. No machetes. The blades can only be so long. No switchblades. Etc.

I don’t carry a gun because I want to do evil or commit a crime, I do it to protect myself and my family from those that does want to do evil and commit a crime.

As far a the restraining order goes, that’s just a piece of paper. Again, lawbreakers do not care about laws. More laws, or even stricter laws are not the answer.
