There were 632 mass shootings in the USA 2023, There was 1 in UK.

1. A wait period and background check before every gun purchase.
2. Guns sold at police stations only.
3. Age 21, like the drinking age.
4. A physical exam
5. Abolish assault weapons.

First, let me say, that I am in full support of getting guns out of the hands of people that should not, and do not, need guns in their hands.

Number 1: Is already in place.
Number 2: We don't want the Government controlling the distribution of guns, which would ultimately lead to the "non-distribution" of guns.
Number 3: Full support
Number 4: I would switch that to a "full mental evaluation," at the gun owner's cost.
Number 5: I am against this, only because the Constitution guarantees us "firearms equal to the military," so "We the People," are never at a disadvantage against our own government.

@calicuz There's nothing in the Constitution about firearms. In fact the founders made it clear that the citizens should have in their possession "every terrible implement" of the soldier. At the time even artilery was privately owned. I look forward to a better world in which globally every human's rights are recognized.
