We can solve problems of mass shootings and school shootings! Just implementing some smart ideas!

There were 632 mass shootings in the USA 2023, There was 1 in UK.

1. A wait period and background check before every gun purchase.
2. Guns sold at police stations only.
3. Age 21, like the drinking age.
4. A physical exam
5. Abolish assault weapons.

There were only 82 school shootings in 2023. 38, which resulted in injury or death. Granted 1 is too many, but there were nowhere near 350.....

@SusiesHubby There were 632 mass shootings in the USA 2023, and 1 in UK. So US has to improve this is not normal. we need to have more control who gets a gun, and help parents and communities raise happy kids instead of mentally ill!

@Carazaa The whole cycle is self perpetuating. The number of gun killings of all types makes people rightly scared and their instinct is to get a gun the protect themselves. The socitey is under pressure and taught to fear and hate by its leaders (Lets not pretend that isnt happening) and a under of people crack under the strain and see the only way to relieve that pressure is to struike out and they pick up a gun and a lot of ammo to make themselves heard.. Changing American thinking is going to be hard and take a long time, even if there was a will to do it. If you dont want your kids to be part of that cycle at some point, find another place to live.😷
