Why do pro-Gunists still defend guns despite all the mass shootings and school shootings?

Because those activist think that the govt wants there guns and all their rights soooo those individuals go overboard.
I fricken have at least 6 long guns and 5 handguns.... and i still wish they would ban assault rifles that are built strictly for killing humans. meaning AK47 or AR15 Types and the likes..... semi-auto as well as fully automatics ....
