However, out of the estimated 250,227 gun-related deaths worldwide in 2019, 65.9% occurred in just six countries: Brazil, the United States, Venezuela, Mexico, India, and Colombia. Gun deaths are considered an epidemic in the United States (which leads the world in civilian gun ownership) by many people, particularly those on the left side of the political spectrum.

Anyway the left idea of criminal justice don't want police they would allow criminals just to go rampant and rob, rape, murder steal and commit anarchic and riot (summer of 2020) any of those criminals brought to justice ,no they are not prosecuted and let back out on the street again to commit more crime.. I don't blame the guns i blame the parents of this kid they did bring up this kid properly actually where were the parents.. no where in sight.... Why was the school door propped open and left unattended ?? Why did it take an hour for the police to respond and break down the classroom door and put the shooter down... lots of questions not many answers..

@masterofyou Bullshit, the mentally ill are far more likely to be a victim of gun violence than a perpetrator. This stigma is nothing but fear-mongering to place blame anywhere but where it truly belongs on guns, and on those who make them easily accessible while promoting a culture of violence.

@masterofyou if the police were so useful, they'd have stopped the shooting, instead of sitting in their cars and fantasising about the next unarmed black guy they're gonna kill.

If guns make them safer, why would these folks be rejecting safety?? Why wouldn't they allow their fellow gun totin' citizens to help protect them and help PROVE their beliefs about gun making them safer? Why not???

@OggggO @ElwoodBlues Funny i was was brought up in a family that hunts and fishes and my dad was a Trap and Skeet shooting champion people would have gun racks onthe back window of their pickup trucks people were responsible and had respect for each other. And when i was in fourth grade we didn't have this problem so what is answer ??

@masterofyou Homicide rates per capita in the 1950s were only a bit lower than our current rates. We did have plenty of murders while you were growing up, just no school shootings.

It's much harder to do a mass killing with a trap & skeet shotgun or bolt action hunting rifle.

Nowadays it's a WHOLE LOT easier to get an assault rifle with a 100 round magazine nowadays. This is what the Dayton shooter used. In the 32 sec before a cop got to him, he killed 9 and wounded 17 more. Would you agree to banning magazines with more than 10 shots?
