Another mass shooting because the shooter had a gun. Should we focus on the other details?

Because nobody can make us put away the guns?
Like maybe it's a hate crime or extreme politics?

It is always a combination of factors that contribute to these types of killings. And it is important to understand these factors to be able to prevent similar violence. But there is one factor.that is common--they had ready access to weapons designed to kill large numbers of people quickly and efficiently. That is one aspect that we can and should address, even though only one political party agrees.

It's important to pretend it's a combination of things, not the fact that there was a gun.

@Changeisgonnacome The fact remains that mass killings can be reduced if access to mass killing weapons is reduced.
