Does anyone else feel that the increase in the use of Prozac and other anti-depressants are playing a role in the mass shootings?

@QuixoticSoul there are so many, though.
Thank you for the correct spelling:)

@Carla There really aren't that many 🤷‍♂️

@QuixoticSoul well, in the late eighties into the ninties, i knew several parents who had counselors telling them that their kids needed medicated. One very close to me agreed to it. Kid got skinny and was morose most of the time. Not himself. She undid the damage by taking him off.
I was only curious.
Im not certain they know yet the damage of medicating children that young.
Not just the effects of the meds, but the idea that a drug can cure everything. Not a good lesson for children.

@Carla It's tough, because you're walking the line between not letting kids evolve coping methods, and handicapping their future. I get it.

But there is really no real connection between ADHD drugs and violence.
Methylphenidate helps people with executive functioning i.e decision making and prioritizing. I know adults who still take low doses.
ADHD is a spectrum disorder, like Autism.

Yours is an interesting idea...but there is no evidence.@Carla
