From what I heard/read, ElPaso has a heavy population of Mexicans and immigrants - the very people he is trying to eliminate.

@MaryJanine BINGO!
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
Eliminate immigrants?
His wife is one.
I think you’re confusing the term immigrant with something else.@MaryJanine

@MaryJanine I never read about him or anyone wanting to eliminate Mexicans or immigrants.

What he, as well as Obama and practically every president before him tried to get control over is ILLEGAL immigrants who come into the US by circumventing immigration checkpoints and laws.

Why would anyone want to come into the US illegally?

Here are a few reasons ....

They may be bringing illegal drugs,
They may be engaged in human trafficking,
They may be terrorist,
They may be gang members,
They may be murderers and rapist,
They may be kidnappers,
They may be engaged in black market enterprises,
They may be .... (every 1st world country keeps a tight control over its borders)

For some reason or other, Democrats are encouraging illegal immigration. Democrats are helping illegal immigrants hide from the border patrol and our immigration authorities.

Why? One reason is because they reap a political advantage. Another is that they hate President Trump more than they love America.

Controlling our border isn't racist, nor anti-Hispanic.

@AthrillatheHunt I know what his wife is...and no, I know very well what an immigrant is, too. I am not confused.

We ALL came from immigrants, despite what the President tells us. So did he (Germany, I believe). He doesn't like black people or anybody else who isn't lily-white. The American Indians were here first and the settlers kicked them out of their territory when they moved in. My brother-in-law is half-Cherokee Indian, and I am PROUD of it, too, He owns land in North Carolina (Cherokee) and President Trump would probably call him a "redskin" or something else insulting. Isn't the saying something about sweeping the dust in front of your own door?
AthrillatheHunt · 51-55, M
@MaryJanine and you STILL think he’s trying to eliminate immigrants?
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
@AthrillatheHunt One word - YES.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@AthrillatheHunt The El Paso shooter, Patrick Crusius, certainly wasn't confused about Trump's rhetoric against Hispanics. He took it to heart and drove 10 hours and 600 miles to kill 22 of them.
GunSmoke9 · 56-60, M
@MaryJanine He's not trying to eliminate anybody.
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
@GunSmoke9 Oh, NO? A few hours after I posted that statement, I came home and checked the news. Sure enough, there were references to the Mexican folks and immigrants that live there. Those are #1 and #2 on his bucket list - in no particular order - who didn't want him to come.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MaryJanine El Paso is about 83% Hispanic at the moment. There is a small white population.
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
@windinhishair Just my POINT. He doesn't WANT it that way. He wants what he wants - which is all white personnel. But not even the President gets everything he wants. No matter who he is in the Oval Office.

On the way home in Air Force One last night, he bragged about the jailed Illinois governor that he "was thinking about" pardoning him because he had been in prison "long enough". His wife (the governor's) was hopeful and grateful. But remember - he promised this once before and never followed through. This is the
second such promise - if he holds to it, that is.
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@MaryJanine I heard that he was thinking of pardoning Blagojevich, who was jailed for corruption. You can never count on him to do what he says he will. We'll see what happens.
MaryJanine · 61-69, F
@windinhishair I know. But this is the SECOND SUCH PROMISE. He dangled that thought in front of Patti after she complained about him being in jail for his daughter's graduation. Never followed through. Now he's trying to be Mr. Nice Guy with re-election on the horizon.
Fernie · F
@windinhishair "we'll see what happens" is one of his favorite expressions
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Fernie I know. I used it deliberately. 😉
Fernie · F
@windinhishair geez...I apologize...I forgot who I was talking to for a second and stated the obvious...my bad
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Fernie You're good. I was just having fun. Love your posts!
Fernie · F
@MaryJanine The instant I heard the original newscast...that it happened in El Paso...I KNEW it was a white male racist pig....a trump mutant
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Fernie As it turns out, it was in the neighborhood I lived in. I've been in Cielo Vista Mall hundreds of times and lived about a half mile away. When the news reports were showing the area in an overhead view, I could see the roof of the house I lived in. That's how close it was. I knew it was some crazed racist too.
Fernie · F
@windinhishair I'm flattered!
Fernie · F
@windinhishair That must have made it even more surreal
windinhishair · 61-69, M
@Fernie Very much so. I didn't know any of the victims, but that doesn't lessen their pain.
Fernie · F
@windinhishair No, it would not lessen the pain...this horror seems to be coming closer and closer to our individual lives...closing in on us...he HAS TO GO...where are the assassins when you need them?
