Handguns kill the vast majority of people in murders. Rifles are not the gun of choice, usually. Rifle murders are for nut jobs.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley Ummmm... so, people who use handguns to kill 4+ people in a single attack are normal?

🤔
@HoraceGreenley AAAAAAnnnnddddddd - killing with handguns are for normal ppl ?
@HoraceGreenley yep. thanks for a sane response. i think im getting people's feathers in a bunch. it just goes against the grain of their thinking.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx No. I didn't say that.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@MarmeeMarch No. Killing with hand guns is far more common.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley You certainly implied it.

There's a violence problem in the US. It's a combination of:
- financial and economic inequity
- failure to invest in mental health care
- irrational gun laws
- over-production of guns
- regulations that make no sense / lack of enforcement of existing regulations / too many regulations

You said "rifle murders are for nut jobs"

I say "murders are for nut jobs"

Have you ever met a murderer? I have. Scary fucking people.

If you say something, stand behind it.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley
Killing with hand guns is far more common.

And the NRA is pleased.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx You sound like a nut job.

I was merely referring to the statistics. Hand guns are used in the vast majority of murders.
@JoeyFoxx gee thats interesting - cant afford anything but can afford guns / weed / booze and other vices. Sure economic inequity.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx no one is happy about that.

I'm making the distinction between hand guns and rifles.

Somehow that got your panties in a bunch.
@HoraceGreenley He is a bonafide boobaholic
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley My friend... I merely refer to what you posted.

Rifle murders are for nut jobs.

You mentioned no statistics. There was nothing objective about this post. It was subjective and the implication was that murders with handguns are not for nut jobs.

Not sure how this would characterize me as a nut job.

You like that term: "nut job". Have you noticed this about yourself?
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx You're not my friend.

The statistics are well known.

My opinion is that these mass murders are perpetrated by nut jobs.

They don't have personal relationships with their victims. It's not about money or passion. Killing indiscriminately for no reason makes you a sociopath, aka nut job.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@MarmeeMarch
and other vices

So, you have no vices other than looking for blowjobs on the internet after sucking the tits of an elderly dead woman.

Thanks for the clarification.
@JoeyFoxx No but I sucked your aunts big tits the other day.
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley So, now we are getting somewhere.

But, why is there a difference? I'm pretty sure that you agreed with me that any kind of mass shooting is bad. Yes?

Why distinguish between the sociopath that kills strangers vs the gang member who kills his neighbors?
wildbill83 · 36-40, M
I especially love how they're always barking on about banning "military style rifles/assault rifles" and high capacity magazines...

setting aside the fact no one can actually purchase a "military assault rifle" without a extremely thorough background check, signed waiver from a sheriff, ATF form 4 (which takes several months) or FFL, let alone the expense of the firearm itself which is considerably higher than any standard civilian firearm...

If someone with an AR15 and a 50-100 round beta mag was actually sane and competent, they'd inflict a lot more damage/causalities than occurs in these shootings...

and quite frankly, if one's intention was to kill as many as possible, they could cause much more death and destruction with a car driving down the sidewalk in a busy neighborhood...

The point being, these "mass shooters" as the media calls them, don't think rationally...

hardly an inanimate object's fault...

And If infringing on the rights of the many for the actions of a few (as is the case with firearm restrictions) is a "solution", then might I suggest a nationwide ban on smart phones...

after all, distracted driving/texting while driving racks up many more fatalities than firearm related crimes...

The biggest killer is high cholesterol, perhaps we should ban high capacity/assault packs of cheese and butter... 🤔
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx different problems require different solutions
JoeyFoxx · 51-55, M
@HoraceGreenley But, the OP posted a group of murderers across different problems. You didn't seem to object to this.

I'm just trying to follow the reasoning for your comment.
HoraceGreenley · 56-60, M
@JoeyFoxx Motivation of the shooters

@wildbill83 Thanks Bill
