Death of the 1st amendment

As media networks start to bend to trump's fragile ego, I can't help but think back how Hitler did the same. Unwilling to be challenged or even questioned, the Nazi regime had a strongarm on the media.

Once a person in power goes after the media to get them to submit to their narrative, we lose more freedom. We are allowed to mock, discuss, ridicule, and create satire. It is one of our main tenants of America. Supression of the media is a huge loss to that freedom.

What's new?

And we don't want to stifle anything. We certainly don't want to stifle free speech, but that's no longer free speech. See, I don't think that the mainstream media is free speech either because it's so crooked. It's so dishonest. So to me, free speech is not when you see something good and then you purposely write bad. To me, that's a very dangerous speech, and you become angry at it. But that's not free speech.
