@Heartlander Homeland security has the ability to see every email you ever sent, read every text, listen to every phone call, see all your social media even if deleted, every credit card transaction. They just dont want to admit they can do it.

A few years ago one of our employee settled on a boyfriend and decided to add him to her bank account and they would move forward on their relationship as a unit. The day after payday she deposited her paycheck; and the next day the state of XX snatched it all, leaving her/them a balance of zero. No warning and nothing they could do about it. The boyfriend had unpaid child support from a previous marriage.

I;m not criticizing the state's efforts to collect child care support. This is to affirm what you said. They know everything about you and raid your home, seize your bank account, intercept your mail, etc. whenever they want to.

@graphite Yep, she never got a penny back. It was all money she had earned, not his. he was unemployed and penniless. But once his name was on that bank account it became "their" money.

@Heartlander People need to do their homework before becoming financially entangled with someone else. This is not the first story like this that I've seen on here - woman marries guy with unpaid child support, her $2,000 tax refund immediately went to the guy's ex wife. She didn't have a clue until it was too late.
