As far as assassins are concerned, they make as much as they want when you’re meeting them in secluded places to pay them for a murder. What’re you gonna do? Press charges for assassin fraud?

Disappointing. Kinda funny, kinda sad. Considering the stress and risk involved, I don't see why anyone would try more than once, even if the first was successful.
