Root canal? You now have a dead tooth stuck in your jaw bone?

@sree251 According to the Dentist the nerve has now been severed, I guess that's correct, the nerve was causing a abscess which contained Pus, we discussed the problem in detail, it was for the best.
I laugh about going to the Dentist, actually she's really a great Dentist.

According to the dentist? Did she not show you the 3-D scan of the tooth showing the root canal she wanted to clean out? Of course, it's for the best. Hopefully, the restored tooth will stay in place forever. You could cap it to ensure the enamel is protected from decay.
Dentists are usually not the problem. It's the dental bill that can wreck your day. How much was it?

@sree251 Oh I don't know yet I have another appointment for two fillings. I wanted those fillings done ages ago, I had to have this Root-Canal done first, the fillings are on the other side of my mouth two injections were enough for one session.

You don't know yet? I guess you must have good dental insurance coverage. I don't. I plan to let my teeth go one by one as I age if regular care can't save them. I will have them extracted when necessary to do so. Switching to liquid food isn't all that bad. I will suck up my dinner through a straw like a housefly.

@sree251 What country do you live in, Stammer's Britain maybe, surely the NHS isn't that bad.
I'm a NHS patient, it did take all of 50 minutes and she kept me talking about her central heating for 10 minutes suppose I have to pay for that ten minutes as well, I'll never learn.

USA. I avoid the US healthcare system. My mom insisted on that from the day I was born. She gave birth to me not at the hospital but at home with the help of a midwife. At the well-baby examination visit, she refused to let the doctor vaccinate me. She thought it was ridiculous to jab an obviously healthy 10 pound baby. Our family doctor, a regular MD, who was into homeopathy, would provide a letter to exempt me from taking shots all the way from kindergarten thru high school. I never took Covid shots. I have never been sick in my life. I have made no provision for burial when I die. They can throw my carcass, as biological waste, in the trash.
Ok, you are cared for by the State.

@sree251 Yes by the State more or less, the State will mostly pay, years ago it was all free.
You need a medical insurance living in the USA that will cover you for all eventualities, I thought Obama sorted out new legalisation on medical insurances, really sorry to hear it's not as good as I thought.
Comparing Britain to the US I'm sorry I didn't make the move to the US all things considered.
