If a convicted murderer/rapist/molester serving a lengthy sentence has expressed a desire to end his life......
should the state or govt honor his wishes and allow him to end his own life ?? What are your thoughts ??

Yes. Let them go.
After working in a prison and being present while someone was put to death, let them go. The liability they cause, the tax payers dollars they use, and hey, some people can't handle the time they have to do. I don't blame them, because it's rough and inhumane.
