A fucked up bit of trivia. Rape by a spouse was basically legal in many places till about the 1970s.

@Pretzel I know here in Canada rape by a spouse was not just overlooked. It actually was totally legal till the late 70s. Makes you wonder how many predators used that to their advantage for decades if not centuries.
