why is there always black on black crime?

Most violence is interpersonal, which means that it happens between the people you live with, live near to, or know personally. Because of how segregated America is along the lines of race and class, most crime will occur between groups with overlapping similarities. Black-on-black, white-on-white, etc.

The only reason that black-on-black crime gets mentioned at all is for conservative people to find an excuse to do nothing. It's Birth of a Nation all over again. When you create the belief that black people are inherently violent, it's a convenient scapegoat to continue ignoring their plights, dismissing their pain, and turning a blind eye to the issues they face
