Interesting thing in the news, the American Supreme Court has let Trump off inciting an invasion of Congress, & the Capitol. Is democracy dead in USA?

Not being American I don't know the full import of this in America, but it seems the rule of law has been overturned!

Fascism will soon be mainstream in the United States, it seems.

It may not be dead, but it's in intensive care. What happens in the coming election will mean a lot. The thing is, so often when given a chance to vote, Americans will vote for democracy and freedom, but somehow the Republican right-wing keeps getting into power and stacking the courts, voting, etc. to keep trying to get rid of American freedoms and democracy. :(
