Supreme Court Loses Their Mind!

Do they really think they can fine homeless people? They’re homeless!! So the buck or 2 I give them will now go back to the government? I’d rather see it go on drugs than there. And this is from people that want less government. Go figure!!

Homelessness and begging (panhandling) are illegal here, too.

No, it hasn't done anything to solve the homeless crisis. There's still record numbers of men, women and children homeless. The only difference is that now the government is after their tents and hammocks because "homelessness is a lifestyle choice" (Suella Bravaman).

Stop choosing to be homeless and start choosing to be housed, damn it!!!

@HootyTheNightOwl I’m sure for some it is. Damn, they ruin it for the rest of us! 🙄🙄
@Handfull1 I can't see how anyone would choose to sleep on the streets - especially not in winter.

The levels of disrespect that they live with are something else. They don't need to be pissed on or have filthy mop water chucked over them.

They're just human, they make mistakes as much as everyone else and they might get stuck in the cycle of addiction and homelessness. We're all just one injury away from becoming addicts of a different kind ourselves.

@HootyTheNightOwl I agree. Was being sarcastic although there are a small minority that prefer it over any social interaction. It’s a rare few and will seek shelter in the winter. It’s sad how society treats many in these situations.
@Handfull1 I'm scared...

Ever since we unleashed universal credit onto the UK, more people are choosing to to anything that they can to avoid having to claim that... including homelessness.

I would prefer to be picked up by the police unable to move in some shop doorway before I am forced to try to do work that I cannot safely manage due to my health.
