Thank goodness for that. A was afraid there for a minute that they wouls kick him out and some other nonimees would get back into the race. Democrats would hate that..😷

Right decision! Colorado's ban was unprecedented and illegal. Democrats only respect the courts when it favors their agenda. Many have already accused the SCOTUS of being politically biased.

@Justice4All I think it is accurate to say that Scotus is politically biased. But thats a factor built into the US system, so if you dont like it, do something about it. Or suck it up Princess. The elections will come round soon enough and everyone gets a say on Trump, Rowe V Wade and Clarence Thomas cosy deals..😷

@Justice4All I agree it was the right decision but for different reasons. State is State and Fed is Fed.

That being said, trump is prison-bound regardless.
There's no way scotus is going to proclaim any person is immune from prosecution, for any reason.
@Justice4All I’m sorry, did you forget when the GOP deliberately stacked the Supreme Court with conservatives ? There were supposed to be an equal number of conservative and progressive voices, but by stalling Obama’s second choice and then rushing through Trump’s choice they now have a conservative majority so that any rights they want to take away, they can.
They began with women’s reproductive rights.

@bijouxbroussard Both parties are hellbent on politicizing the Supreme Court, ultimately undermining its credibility. The Democrats have advocated for expanding the Supreme Court solely to secure a ruling majority. What value does a court hold if its decisions are driven more by partisan agendas than constitutional interpretation?

In all fairness, the role of the Supreme Court is to interpret the Constitution and determine if laws and government policies adhere to what's written therein. Deciding whether states can restrict abortions extends beyond the intended scope of the Court's responsibilities.

@Justice4All In my view entry to the supreme court should be a non political process. Judged by independent Legal panels on their legal record of performance..😷
@Justice4All Occasionally the Supreme Court has ruled on "the side of the angels", Brown v. Board of Education, Loving v. Virginia, Gamer v. Louisiana, and yet they were also considered "political" decisions, even though their goal was equal civil rights which were previously being denied. Stacking the court in order to deny civil rights or suppress voters’ right would be unconstitutional.
