I think , in many instances , it is a greater betrayal than the abuse itself. You can learn to hate a direct abuser. When it is indirect involvement as in negligence, lack of prioritization and apathy, it erodes your sense of self in the most horrible of ways. No walls up, no disconnection to soften the hurt. Completely unexpected and raw.

It is the people we love that can hurt us the most.

@Miram Thanks for bc , i agree somethings can hurt more than physical pain .I'm kind of sad that no one else responded, but seems like any topic that gets below the surface or requires deeper thought is not a hot topic .I appreciate your posts because they are not the run of the mill jabber . Nothing wrong with the shallow posts just like ones that require critical thinking.

Here, that's a positive thing. Not getting many replies on this topic. Last time I have, people especially women twisted my content and posted about me being uncompassionate. And how I am this and that.

People like to only react and think when it is collective and according to trends...and reinforces their own narratives. A victim of a victim is too much nuances indeed.
