If she survives, then Tennessee should do it right next time. Here's a good example...[media=https://youtube.com/shorts/4YchMiji3h0?is=pcPHZxFG_uCFqIIs]

She was sentenced in 1996. Does it really take 30 f'in years to carry out something like that?
I would think some people waiting for their final day would pass of old age before they ever saw ex3cution.

@SunSetStrut And some might say that waiting and not knowing would be the real punishment for some.😷

@FoxyGoddess when a case is over, the lawyer has to find a new client.

@FoxyGoddess Just think though, some of the jurers on later appeals (assuming a re-trial) were not even born when the original incident happens.

*If* she wakes up, I have a feeling she has brain damage.

There is a legalized betting platform where you can get on anything. I guarantee you could bet on it there.

Not a fan of capital punishment - but when carried out - it should be rapid and successful.

Medieval torture of the most grotesque kind.
Whatever will you American guys think of next!
Cruel beyond. Repulsive.

@peterlee What Pike did wasn't in the best taste. Just look up the details of her crime.
It was pretty ruthless, not like when someone d*es in a gunfight.

@SunSetStrut But you still do not torture her in return!
I am not arguing against the death penalty. But you don’t wait thirty years giving psychological torture then give brutal physical torture, you do it humanely. Straight away.

The irony of her being placed on life support doesnt escape me. (This is not a comment on her case or Capital Punishment generally)😷

@SunSetStrut yeah I said in another post I hope she's silently aware and in lots of pain
SunSetStrut · 46-50
@Gibbon One thing though, I do not even remember seeing or hearing anything about it back when it happened. Of course at the time, I wasn't paying much attention to the news.

@SunSetStrut I saw it not long after. I immediately read about the method and saw two veterinarians clock in with the mistakes made. They weren't the fault of the people involved they were the actual method.
