They recovered her headphones

We have been tracking them with find my app and last night they got turned off. But this morning they were turned back on and they were at the gas station. The police went there and got them back. We were told it was a teenager working there that had them. Obviously he's not the one that took them. They are taking him to the station and we will get more information later.

I'm just glad we'll got those headphones back.

Something of a modern day miracle. Yay!

@Mamapolo2016 we didn't think we'd find them when the went off line last night but they got turned back on at the gas station since it was the second time they were at that location the police actually went there when we called.

That's fantastic news! Keep us informed.

@Musicman will do

Hey that's great the headphones were recovered. The person who stole them probably went to the gas station convenient store to sell them. The person who bought them will most likely describe to the police the person who sold him the headphones in exchange for a light sentence or avoid any jail time.

@Barefooter25 I don't think there will be any charges brought to the teenager if he truly just bought the headphones.

ok ☺ finally.. good thing that have that tracking option 😊 what a shitty thing for those other people to do 😤😒 grr ☺
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@GoFish yeah I didn't even know that headphones could be tracked like that thank goodness star is much smarter than us LOL.

@Cigarguys yeah lol kids these days lol

I don't know the back story. If it was at the gas station most likely your child left the headphones on top of the car and u drove away. Headphones are easy to replace why ruin a kid future by calling the police
@smileylovesgaming Umm, maybe because they stole sh_t and will continue to steal sh_t until they get caught. Now they are caught so a new crossroad presents itself. It is for their own good to go through prosecution for doing stupid things.
smileylovesgaming · 31-35, FVIP
@PoohSmasher but we don't know if she really put it in her backpack or just saying that.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@smileylovesgaming my daughter doesn't lie and she is very protective of her headphones. So if she says she put them in her backpack and zipped it up I believe her. And we never went to the gas station that day. So it was impossible for them to get there unless somebody took them out of her backpack and to the gas station

People tend to use the convenience stores as fences
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@MarineBob yeah I'm kind of wondering if the person that stole them took them to the gas station to see the person working there could sell them. Or maybe he's the older brother of whoever took them.
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
Yeah, so reading between the lines. Whoever did steal the headphones, they did so in order to make a quick buck. Sold them to a random teenager who didn't ask questions because the price was so low. Now the poor kid gets the scare of his life, because all he wanted was some good headphones at a low price, and now the police are asking him questions.

Don't get me wrong. I'm 100% in favor of scaring the kid who bought them, because he needs to understand there's always a victim in these cases. Teenagers don't naturally have empathy, it has to be taught.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@ItsMeMorgue yes I'm starting to think that is what happened to. I guess he's going to learn a tough life lesson today. I do feel bad as well especially if he did just buy them. Teenagers want nice things and they can't always afford them so I can see why he might have tried to buy them cheap.
ItsMeMorgue · 46-50, F
@Cigarguys I'm actually happy he's learning his lesson this way, because the police are going to do their best to scare him, but they won't arrest him for it. It's a teaching moment, and he'll remember the time he almost went to jail for the rest of his life.
Cigarguys · 41-45, C
@ItsMeMorgue there shouldn't be any charges brought on the teenager he's not the one that stole them.
