Cities and states need to pass laws that strictly forbid public officials including law enforcement from lying to citizens under any circumstance.

No matter how escalated interactions may happened. No matters how difficult it makes it to investigate.

With mandatory firing and jail time for lying to the public.

I think that must politicians belong in jail. Even saying that, this is perhaps the dumbest thing I've heard since I last watched Trump speak. At least you formed a full sentence, so that's a plus.
