And this guy was ex military and a 10 year vet of DHS. Not just some raw recruit who has never faced anything.

So that excuse doesn't work either.

And yes, training is supposed to prepare you for exactly that. If it doesn't the training is a failure.

Then again American law enforcement has the lowest training standards of all G7 countries.

@pdockal You are because you are making excuses for the officer.

This has nothing to do with whether the person commenting can do the job. It is not their job.

It is the officer's job. If they cannot do the literal job description they should not be on the force. Period.

They are a liability to the public and fellow officers as was proven conclusively here.
