How would you actually react if you were a suspect of murder for the police?

I see so much overreaction in crime shows. Like dude, stop freaking out if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. Just cooperate with the dam police. I find it both comical and stupid in these shows for people to freak out. Bah, just thinking.
