I have been in a medium and a high security prison. Not as an inmate but as a visitor or a worker. I was working at a medium security prison and broke the law. I had something unstable in the back of a pickup truck so I decided to ride in the back and keep the object from falling out. The driver? Yeah he was an inmate.

@ScreamingFox I live in Norway. Our prisons are better than old folks homes, or even assisted living facilities.

It's the US, prisons are horrible.
It's not Scandinavia. Your prisons are better.
