Neither Luigi Mangione or His Mother Have Ever Been Covered By United HealthCare.

He will be convicted of 2nd Degree Murder.
Toofargone · 26-30, F
Impossible he was helping out in a senior center in Cincinnati on the day of the murder. I was assigned to the same volunteer team as him and we spent the day chatting with lonely senior citizen and making cookies for orphaned children the guy is a saint

Let's remember - this has nothing to do with single payer! Americans refuse to improve their system. The deaths really do matter to them. The deaths help avoid a cohesive society!

@Dino11 cars guns and no socialism. Deaths are really quite common and cohesion in society is -booooom! Lolz. Y'all slay me! No reason for hopes or prayers for roadkill that only will drive and never want to stop the killing.

He was lying in wait. He’ll be convicted of 1st degree premeditated murder.
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@RSquared That would be even better. And, that's true... the evidence so far clearly points to it being premeditated and far from random although so cowardly in that he shot the person in the back and ran away. And the CEO never even did anything to him or his family. They weren't customers of the company the victim as CEO of.
@RSquared yeah exactly
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
As he should be. Murder as a solution (outside of a war zone) isn't just a crime, it's an invitation to end society. What next, will the next road rage perpetrator who is in shape, flashes a smile, and claims to care about people be memorialized with a statue on the roadway?
@MarkPaul solution? What might be a real solution to the healthcare crisis? Should that topic be taboo here, since we don't want to mix issues with solutions as a public?
MarkPaul · 26-30, M
@Roundandroundwego The solution is a "safety net," if I might be so bold as to suggest, that leaves no one out with healthcare.
@MarkPaul ah, we can connect solutions to problems. It's just a very rare event.

Nope. Very clearly premeditated. He 3d printed his own gun!!!

He will be spared the death penalty, but he will be behind bars for life.
Unless he can get not guilty by reason of insanity 😅 😏
MethDozer · M
@SStarfish it's being labelled as a terrorist act.
@MethDozer it's usually the quietly excluded or bullied outsider.. perhaps they are mental in a way.. not that it excuses them.. I'm sure he will be brought to justice, I'm not worried about it.. the health system does need reform but that doesn't excuse anyone .. i'm still not convinced his (the dead guy's) wife wasn't involved but i'm always suspicious of everything

(1) I don't support violence. Ever.

(2) We have a problem delivering healthcare that other developed nations don't have.

Note the graph goes 1970-2018.

@Dino11 probably. If not murder 1. He killed one of the aristocracy. The "people who matter". That's why it made news.

@MethDozer the post is not about if it made the news or not.
